The 'UV Journey' was a group exhibition of artworks that featured an aspect of ultra violet reflection medium, during October 2025
Four distilled figurative paintings with a spray coating of Ultra violet aerosol over masked unpainted white areas. The UV spray allowed the white to become more brilliant during daylight but also revealing a cosmos like night sky when illuminated with UV light only.

Darrell Kingsley is a mark maker currently working in Hampshire, UK. The minimal monochromatic style is indicative of figurative image reduction, specifically shape, form and colour to explore the foundations of aesthetic intention. The work encourages a dialogue between curiosity and the emotion arising from organic shapes that dissolve into familiarity.
